Elaine received her Bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University and went on to perform with the Northlake College Repertory Dance Company, Mahogany Dance Theatre of Texas, and in the televised Annual TBAAL Black Music & Civil Rights Movement Concert for two years.
In 2006, Elaine founded the Anointed Saints of Praise Dance Ministry where she continues as Director and Choreographer today. To date Elaine has lead the ministry to host their own Annual Praise Dance Explosions for six consecutive years which included over twenty different Dance and Mine Ministries from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and around the United States. In 2015, Elaine expanded the ministry by creating and hosting a workshop series called the Toolbox Dance Ministry Workshop giving Dance Ministries the opportunity to focus on core dance techniques in a dance studio setting. On Christmas Eve 2016, Elaine ministered in dance as a solo dance artist on the Believers International Ministries special holiday broadcast that aired on the national UAN Television Network.
Elaine is listed in the Who’s Who in Praise Dance/Mime Ministries list on His Hem Ministry Praise Dance and worship arts blog and is known as a trail blazer in ministry social media marketing. Accolades for Anointed Saints of Praise Dance Ministry include two Liturgical Dance/Mime Team of the Year nominations for the Rhythm of Gospel Awards in 2018 and 2019, and the 4th Annual Key of Gospel Music and Ministry Awards in 2019.
Currently Elaine is a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Candidate at Texas Woman's University in Denton where she continues to explore her choreographic process on stage and on screen researching the various ways a dancer can use their gift of dance and array of technique to create movement and embody the many stages of thankfulness using different dance styles.
